Hi, I’m Ismael.
You can
call me Izzy.
I take joy in working with people with disabilities and supporting a better everyday life.
I’m Ismael “Izzy” Martin, the founder of Izzy-A-Nanny | Adaptive Care. I’m building a service that brings flexible care to families and more opportunities to experienced caregivers.

Thoughtful support.
A need for flexible care.
A need for meaningful work.
Care built around real life.My motivation for Izzy-A-Nanny is personal. During my two years working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), the hours available could make it difficult to earn enough. I know what it feels like to need more work opportunities to help cover the bills.
That experience helped shape this business. I want to create another route for RBTs and other experienced caregivers to earn additional income through flexible, session-based care. At the same time, I want families to have support that fits the way their lives actually work.
Working with people with disabilities is a part of my work that I enjoy deeply. Izzy-A-Nanny brings that commitment into everyday care: making room for play, supporting familiar routines, and adapting the plan to the person in front of us.
More than a decade
of supporting people.
My 10+ years in related fields include work with people of all ages. Those experiences inform how I approach care, communication, and the importance of getting to know each individual.
Izzy-A-Nanny’s current family program focuses on children ages 3–17 with autism and other developmental disabilities.
My Background Includes
- Supported Living Coach
- Respite Care
- Advocacy
- Companion Support

- Behavior Tech
- Behavior Assistant
These roles describe my background. Adaptive Care provides everyday care and routine support—not ABA, therapy, teaching, or tutoring.
A provided plan.
An individual approach.
Get to Know Your Child
Family input helps me understand interests, communication, routines, preferences, and the support that makes a day feel comfortable.
Prepare the Routine
Izzy-A-Nanny provides the schedule and activity materials. You don’t need to design a session from scratch.
Make Room to Adapt
The plan includes choices, breaks, and flexibility. A child’s needs can change during the day, and the routine should be able to change with them.
Support for Families.
Opportunity for Caregivers.
My goal is to connect family needs with experienced people who enjoy this work. The proposed caregiver role is session-based W-2 employment, with hours dependent on bookings. More opportunities to earn are the goal; a fixed number of weekly hours is not guaranteed.
